Hi and welcome!

I’m surprised you found my random little blog in this big blog world, but I’m glad you did!

My name is Casey – I’m on a mission to lose the 40 pounds I’ve slowly packed on since my first year of college (9 years ago!). I’ve tried all the fad diets imaginable (Hollywood, Master Cleanse, Liquid Diets) and I’m over it!!!

I’m going with the old-fashioned plan now –> Eating better and Working Out!

My plan for this blog is to update family, friends, and anyone else who’d like to follow along on my weight loss journey! I’ll be posting several times a week about my eating habits, workouts, and new tips and tricks I find along the way to lose weight or work out better and smarter! I’ll probably even add in a few Video Blogs on my lazy days when I don’t feel like typing 🙂

GOALS FOR 2013:

    1. Complete all three phases of Jamie Eason’s 12-Week LiveFit Trainer starting in FEB
    2. Complete a Tough Mudder Event in October
    3. Run a 10k in May and beat my last 10K time of 1:12:00
    4. Find new workouts I love! I really, REALLY want to try boxing!
    5. WEAR A TWO-PIECE bathing suit Summer of 2013

    Casey you are doing great! YEAH for 2lb loss. Your dad and I are doing this also (not your plan, but a weight loss plan). He’s lost 4 and I”ve lost 6. We’ll stick together!! SO proud of you in your attempts, your actions and your goals.

    check out Crossfit–its something you love to hate and then eventually love. its a way of life not just a program. but be prepared to work for it. Youll be amazed at what you can accomplish. best of luck with whatever you do

      haha! I believe it! I’ve watched some videos for crossfit online! I definitely want to try it at some point! I looked into classes around my area and it was a bit too expensive for me right now, but maybe I’ll find a good Groupon deal or something one of these days 😉

    casey! i LOVE your blog. i can absolutely relate to you. i am 24 and since i began college i too have out on about 40lbs in what seems like the blink of an eye. when i look at pictures at myself in college its depressing! i usually blog about fashion and beauty but have recently included my journey to health. i can wait to follow your adventure! xo

    Good luck on your journey. I recently lost about 70 lbs, although I wouldn’t recommend my method which involves illness and hospitals. I have to say though, while you looked good at your previous weight, you look great the way you are.
